Note that the program has been updated – all panels and panel times remain the same, but registration and meals are now in Wallace Hall (first floor, John Deutsch University Centre) and the keynote address will take place in the Robert Sutherland Room (second floor, JDUC).
See you on Friday!
This year’s conference theme is Interstices: Interrogating the Past and Its Relevance to the Present.
The conference will be held in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, from March 1-2, 2013.
We are pleased to announce our keynote speaker is Dr. Heather MacDougall, of the Department of History at the University of Waterloo. Dr. MacDougall will be delivering an address entitled “Rethinking Healthcare’s Past and Present: History and Current Policy Debates.”
Our luncheon speaker is Dr. Pamela Peacock, of the Museum of Health Care at Kingston.
We will be hosting a wine and cheese reception at the Museum of Health Care on Friday evening of the conference – a great opportunity to meet fellow grad students, take in the exhibits, and reflect on the themes brought up by the speakers.
